GrayRobinson’s Kim McDougal Appointed to Florida Association of Professional Lobbyists Board of Directors

Tallahassee, Fla. – December 17, 2020 – GrayRobinson, P.A. (GrayRobinson) is proud to announce that Senior Government Affairs Consultant Kim McDougal, Ph.D., of the Tallahassee office, has been appointed to the Florida Association of Professional Lobbyists (FAPL) Board of Directors for 2021-2022. In this role Dr. McDougal will be responsible for governing the organization and upholding its mission to establish and maintain high standards for the lobbying profession. She is joined by 14 additional board directors.

McDougal lobbies across a wide range of policy areas on behalf of public and private clients. She brings almost three decades of education policy knowledge and experience to GrayRobinson’s lobbying practice, having served in multiple leadership roles at the Department of Education, including Governmental Relations Director and Senior Policy Advisor for several Commissioners of Education. Her most recent role prior to joining the Firm was as Chief of Staff to Florida Governor Rick Scott. In this role, she was responsible for directly serving and advising the Governor on issues pertaining to 100,000 plus executive branch employees and administered an $83 billion state budget.
