GrayRobinson today announced Government Affairs Advisor Katie Flury has been nominated for "Visionary of the Year" by the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS). Formerly titled “Man & Woman of the Year,” “Visionaries of the Year” is a 10-week philanthropic competition for leaders in local communities across the United States to create a team and raise funds for LLS in honor of local blood cancer survivors and the title "Visionary of the Year" is awarded to the candidate whose team raises the most funds during the competition. Part of the journey entails candidates and their teams choosing a pillar of LLS’ mission – research, patient education and support or advocacy – to champion on as they raise money. Katie is a dedicated changemaker and client advocate serving businesses and local governments throughout Florida. She is known for her state budget and policy expertise in technology, health care, and transportation.
