Teresa Finer counsels employers on U.S. immigration requirements, coordinating immigration steps from initial onboarding through continued employment and longer-term residency planning. She trains human resources professionals on immigration policy, guiding them on visa filings with USCIS, PERM labor certification applications with the U.S. Department of Labor, adjustment of status applications, and consular processing overseas.

Teresa also advises employers on immigration compliance, including I-9 program support, internal audits, and responses to agency inquiries and investigations. She helps employers strengthen documentation practices, prepare for inspections, and manage enforcement-related issues with an emphasis on reducing disruption and operational risk. She collaborates with professionals and executives across a wide range of industries, including engineering, pharmaceutical manufacturing, restaurants, religious organizations, athletics, and performing arts.

In addition to her employer-focused practice, Teresa regularly counsels individuals on personal investment-based visas, family-based visa petitions, and applications for U.S. naturalization.
