Veronica Meza represents clients in complex commercial disputes. Her portfolio of casework includes matters involving breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty, fraud, corporate and partnership disputes, banking litigation, consumer protection statutes, the Uniform Commercial Code, and banking privacy. Veronica represents clients at the trial and appellate levels, in state and federal courts. She has argued on behalf of clients before the American Arbitration Association and in cross-border disputes before the International Center for Dispute Resolution.

A client-centered and versatile litigator, Veronica has significant depth and proficiency in representing clients in putative class action matters. She has also represented clients in deposit litigation and litigation involving defenses arising under Articles 3, 4, 4A, 5, and 8 of the UCC. Additionally, she assists banking clients with subpoena compliance and in the review of documents produced in response to enhanced due diligence requirements stemming from the Bank Secrecy Act and the U.S. Patriot Act.

Veronica is known for her professional excellence and is dedicated to delivering positive outcomes for clients in this complex area of law. She often teams with GrayRobinson colleagues in corporate, criminal and white collar defense, and real estate practices to provide multidimensional support to clients.

    • Represented Truist Bank in class action, prevailing on appeal, arising from the dismissal with prejudice of a class action asserting alleged violations of Florida’s UCC and Florida’s Consumer Collection Practices Act based on an allegedly defective pre-disposition notice under Section 679.614, Florida Statutes.
