ORLANDO, Fla. – GrayRobinson is pleased to announce the addition of Remee E. Farah, Monique Andre Jerome, Taylor L. Lewis, and Vanessa M. Michaud as associates across its Litigation and Intellectual Property (IP) Sections. Together, they bring a broad range of courtroom, transactional, and advocacy experience that deepens the firm’s bench and enhances its ability to help clients navigate complex disputes, construction matters, and IP challenges across Florida and beyond.
Remee E. Farah, Appellate and Trial Support, Tampa
Farah focuses her practice on civil litigation and appellate matters, including dispositive motions, direct and interlocutory appeals, and petitions for extraordinary relief, with an emphasis on preservation of error.
Prior to joining GrayRobinson, she served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Lori S. Rowe and the Honorable Robert E. Long, Jr. at Florida’s 1st District Court of Appeals across civil, administrative, criminal, and family law matters.
Farah served as a Governor Barrister of the 1st District Appellate American Inn of Court and is a member of The Florida Bar’s Appellate Practice Section and the Hillsborough County Bar Association’s Appellate Practice and Trial and Litigation Sections. She earned her Juris Doctor from Stetson University College of Law and her Bachelor of Science from Florida State University. She is admitted to practice in Florida.
Monique Andre Jerome, Litigation, Boca Raton
Jerome represents government entities in commercial litigation, premises liability, and personal injury defense. Her experience as both an in-house counsel and private practice attorney includes managing a high-volume insurance defense docket; drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery; and advocating for clients in hearings, mediations, and depositions.
Jerome is a member of the Caribbean Bar Association, where she previously served as secretary and treasurer. She earned her Juris Doctor from Nova Southeastern University College of Law, her Master of Public Administration from Nova Southeastern University, and her Bachelor of Arts from the University at Albany, State University of New York. She is admitted to practice in Florida.
Taylor L. Lewis, Construction, Tampa
Lewis represents developers, general contractors, and subcontractors in complex construction defect disputes, including multi-party claims involving subrogation issues and insurance structures, such as the Owner-Controlled Insurance Program (OCIP) and Contractor Controlled Insurance Program (CCIP).
Lewis assists clients through all phases of litigation, from initial case evaluation to drafting pleadings and dispositive motions, and actively participates in depositions, hearings, and mediations.
She is a member of the St. Petersburg Bar Association and earned her Juris Doctor from Florida State University College of Law and her Bachelor of Arts from Eckerd College. She is admitted to practice in Florida and before the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida.
Vanessa M. Michaud, Intellectual Property, Miami
Michaud focuses her practice on intellectual property law and litigation involving trademarks, copyrights, patents, and related agreements. Her experience includes trademark and copyright prosecution and Trademark Trial and Appeal Board disputes.
Her dual experience from a boutique IP law firm and large commercial litigation firm, along with her background in the arts and at a Spanish broadcast network, informs her understanding of proprietary rights.
Michaud serves as treasurer of the Coral Gables Bar Association and is a member of the Cuban American Bar Association and The Florida Bar’s Entertainment, Arts, and Sports Law Section. She earned her Juris Doctor from American University Washington College of Law and her Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Miami. Michaud is admitted to practice in Florida and before the U.S. District Court for the Southern, Middle, and Northern Districts of Florida. She is fluent in Spanish.
