ORLANDO, Fla. – GrayRobinson today announced it has elevated nine attorneys, five elected to shareholder and four promoted to senior associate, effective immediately.

Shawn L. Demers, Litigation, Melbourne

Recently named among the “People on the Move” by Orlando Sentinel, Demers handles a diverse portfolio of complex commercial litigation matters from inception through trial, is a business transaction attorney, including asset and purchase agreements, and serves as counsel for small and growing businesses. Demers regularly works with developers, investors, contractors, residential and commercial property owners, commercial tenants, and other real estate and litigation parties. 

Dylan Hooper, Litigation, Orlando

Hooper is a trial lawyer focusing his practice on health care, contract, and business tort litigation. He has extensive trial experience in product liability matters, breach of contract matters, partnership disputes, and representing the State of Florida. In addition to being licensed in Florida and Georgia, Hooper has been admitted pro hac vice to handle cases in state and federal courts in seven other states. Hooper also has intern experience with Judge Craig L. Schwall, Sr., in the Superior Court of Fulton County in Georgia and the Executive Office of the Governor in Florida.

Cooper Jarnagin, Litigation, West Palm Beach

Jarnagin is a Florida Bar Board Certified Admiralty and Maritime lawyer who focuses his practice on admiralty claims and litigation. He represents the world’s largest cruise lines in high-exposure maritime passenger and crewmember claims. Jarnagin also has experience in the recreational marine sector handling property damage and personal injury claims. Throughout his career, Jarnagin has handled initial investigation of incidents through trials and appeals and has obtained numerous favorable court decisions benefitting his clients.

Adam Miller, Litigation, Orlando

Miller represents individuals and business entities in business litigation, personal injury, and insurance defense matters throughout the state of Florida. His practice includes assisting clients with navigating and litigating contract disputes, business torts, and personal injury defense. Additionally, Miller helps hospitals and other large corporations defend against consumer collection claims, including claims brought under the Florida Consumer Collection Practices Act and the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act. He also has extensive trial experience, which he brings to every case.

Thomasina Moore, Litigation, Tallahassee

Moore is an adept litigator known for her enterprise impact and expertise in employment law matters. Moore counsels government agencies and businesses on employment matters involving employee relations issues, policy development, and compliance with federal, state, and local laws, including those involving race, age, religious, national origin, and sex discrimination; sexual harassment; alleged violations of ADA; wrongful terminations; breach of contract; Florida Whistleblower Act; and FLSA and FMLA violations. Moore dedicates her valuable legal skills to organizations in need of strategic and operational guidance to improve the quality of their legal representation and drive bottom-line revenue growth. Known for her exceptional leadership qualities, she works closely with clients to help strengthen and protect workplace frameworks within a legal context, advising on team performance, optimizing organizational structures, and upgrading reporting processes to accommodate the need for efficient business operations.
