GrayRobinson Elevates 13 Attorneys and Advisors

7 Elected to Shareholder; 6 Promoted to Senior-level Positions

ORLANDO, Fla. – GrayRobinson today announced it has elevated 13 attorneys and advisors, seven of whom have been elected to shareholder, effective immediately. The new shareholders represent various practice areas spanning seven offices.

Jeff Aaron, Election Law and Government, Orlando/Tallahassee

Recently named one of the 2023 Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch in America™, Aaron focuses on election law, government, entertainment and sports, and intellectual property and technology. Aaron was recently appointed by Governor Ron DeSantis to serve on the Sixth District Court of Appeal Judicial Nominating Commission and was subsequently elected to serve as its chair. Aaron also has experience as a judicial intern for The Honorable Jeffrey Levenson of the Seventeenth Judicial Circuit Court in Florida and as a law clerk in Florida Governor Rick Scott’s Office of the General Counsel, at William Morris Endeavor’s Music Division, and at the University of Florida’s Office of the Vice President and General Counsel.

Hannah Becker, Regulated Products, Tampa

Recently honored as a 2022 Rising Star by Florida Super Lawyers, Becker is known for advising companies and entrepreneurs in heavily-regulated industries with regard to compliance with federal, state, and local statutes and regulations that govern the manufacturing, importation, distribution, marketing, sale, and consumption of alcohol beverages and other regulated products. She has significant experience providing alcohol licensing and regulatory support for major mergers and acquisitions in the hospitality industry, counseling businesses engaging in alcohol delivery and shipment, providing label review for alcohol beverage products, and counseling regulated products industry clients on tax issues.

Kristin Kowaleski, Real Estate and Land Use, Tampa

Kowaleski is a commercial real estate attorney focusing her practice on real estate transactions related to office buildings, shopping centers, apartment complexes, and residential communities. She represents a wide range of real estate clients throughout Florida in acquiring and leasing properties, including ground leases; sale-leasebacks; and retail, office and industrial leasing.

Emily Pineless, Litigation, Boca Raton

Recently named one of the 2023 Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch in America™, Pineless focuses her practice in the areas of commercial and business tort litigation, contract litigation, insurance defense, and personal injury defense.

Josef Rosen, Litigation, Tampa

Recently named one of the 2023 Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch in America™, Rosen concentrates his practice on securities, securities litigation, arbitration, and regulatory matters. He primarily represents securities and financial services industry clients in connection with litigation involving breach of contract, negligence, and employment disputes while also maintaining a general commercial litigation practice.

He has additional experience in mediation and arbitration, having successfully mediated and arbitrated employment matters from inception to complete dismissal in a broad range of industries, including extensive experience in the restaurant, food, and grocery retail; construction; health care; and media industries. Jennifer Vanover, Intellectual Property, Jacksonville/Gainesville

Vanover is a registered patent attorney focusing her practice on intellectual property, internet and software, licensing, corporate, and health care, often assisting clients with the selection, procurement, protection, enforcement, and licensing of their intellectual property rights and confidential and proprietary information. She has extensive experience prosecuting state and federal trademark applications for a variety of clients. She also assists individuals and corporations operating in the entertainment industry by drafting contracts and releases, including publicity rights releases, production agreements, location release and wrap agreements, translation and dubbing agreements, publishing agreements, speaker and live performance agreements, and master services, consultant, and work for hire agreements.

Love has accumulated more than 18 years of experience in government relations matters involving the Florida Legislature, the Governor and Cabinet, and state agencies. She is well-versed in the political process and represents a wide variety of clients, ranging from professional associations to multinational corporations and Fortune 500 companies, with particular experience in the design, construction, and health care sectors. She successfully navigates Florida’s appropriation and policy process on behalf of her clients, securing project funding and helping develop policies favorable to Florida businesses.
