Hancock Comes to GrayRobinson from U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development
Washington, D.C. – February 8, 2021 – GrayRobinson, P.A. (GrayRobinson) today announced Elizabeth "Blair" Hancock, who most recently worked in the Office of Congressional and Intergovernmental Relations within the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, will join the firm’s government affairs and lobbying practice as a federal legislative consultant in the Washington, D.C., office. Hancock will primarily focus her work on assisting the federal lobbying team with developing government relations strategies at both the state and federal level. Her experience includes handling congressional relations for the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, Office of Congressional and Intergovernmental Relations, where she ensured the accurate presentation of the Department’s views before 300 plus congressional offices in 30 states. She also gained experience at the Federal Office of Florida Governor Rick Scott in Washington, D.C.; served as a legislative fellow for the Florida House of Representatives Economic Affairs Committee; and worked for the University of Florida (UF) Office of Federal Relations, where she collaborated with congressional members and staff to develop actionable items that positively impacted UF and the higher education community.
