We have been involved in DRIs from both the public and private sector perspectives throughout Florida, including Sarasota County, Manatee County, Miami Beach, Monroe County, West Palm Beach, Jupiter, and various other parts of Palm Beach County.
We have substantial experience with large-scale development in many areas of the country, including Developments of Regional Impact (“DRI”) under Florida law. Most recently, we were principally responsible for amendments to a large DRI in Boca Raton, Florida to permit an Intermodal Transportation Facility within a large office/light industrial park. We also assist property owners within developments of regional impacts to understand and protect their rights as the development of regional impact development orders expire or approach their expiration dates.
As DRIs are no longer required by the state, we have assisted numerous clients adjust to new rules and requirements.
