GrayRobinson is pleased to announce Shareholders Kellie Caggiano and Lauren Eliopoulos, and Senior Associate Erin Weinstock will present at the CLM Construction Conference, taking place September 23–25, 2026, in Dallas, Texas.
Kellie will present "Death by a Thousand Cuts: Managing Eroding Limits in Wrap Claims" on September 24 from 4:00 pm – 5:00 pm CT. The session covers strategies for resolving claims as limits are reduced by defense costs, indemnity payments, and multi-party exposure, with a focus on early evaluation, allocation, and carrier/contractor/counsel coordination.
Lauren will present "Creative Solutions: Strategies for Navigating Conflict in Construction Defect Cases" on September 24 from 10:30 am – 11:30 am CT. The session examines how counsel, insureds, carriers, and experts interact throughout the life of a construction defect claim, and offers practical strategies for managing conflict and aligning stakeholders toward efficient resolution.
Erin will present "Subsidence Risk and Expanding Liability: Implications for Design Professionals" on September 25 from 11:15 am – 12:15 pm CT. The session explores how emerging research on long-term subsidence is reshaping liability standards for design professionals, and offers practical strategies for contracts, communication, and insurance planning.
Based in the firm’s Tampa office, Kellie is a member of the GrayRobinson Construction Team and is board-certified in Construction Law by The Florida Bar. With over two decades of experience, she defends contractors, subcontractors, developers, architects, engineers, and other construction professionals in complex construction litigation throughout Florida, focusing on construction defect litigation, professional liability defense, and wrongful death and personal injury defense for construction entities. She regularly handles claims exceeding $10 million from case inception through trial and has represented clients in trial-level and appellate litigation addressing Florida’s statute of repose. She previously served as a president of the Construction Litigation Management North Florida Chapter and is an active member of the ABC Gulf Coast Chapter. Kellie also serves as co-chair of the Construction Litigation Management Property Conference Committee and frequently presents on construction-related topics. She was named a 2020 Woman Leader in Law by American Lawyer Magazine and is recognized in the 2026 edition of Best Lawyers of America.
Based in the firm’s Tampa office, Lauren is a member of the GrayRobinson Construction Team and is board-certified in Construction Law by The Florida Bar. She represents developers, general contractors, and subcontractors throughout Florida in contract preparation, lien claims, and defect litigation, including installation and product defect claims involving corrosion, water intrusion, and coating failures in sliding glass doors, windows, and railings for single-family homes, multi-family communities, mixed-use projects, and high-rise condominiums. She handles matters at all stages, from pre-suit negotiations through litigation, arbitration, and trial, with notable appellate decisions in Florida’s 2nd, 3rd, and 4th District Courts of Appeal. Lauren was recently named to the Executive Committee of The Florida Bar’s Real Property, Probate, and Trust Law Section and was appointed vice chair of the Construction Law Institute for a three-year term. She has been named to Best Lawyers in America’s Ones to Watch list in 2026 and Florida Super Lawyers’ Rising Stars list from 2021-2026.
Based in the firm's Miami office, Erin is a member of the GrayRobinson Construction Team and focus her practice on construction and complex commercial litigation, representing clients in high-stakes disputes involving construction defects, insurance coverage, products liability, and commercial conflicts, including bench trials and complex dispositive motion practice. She served as president of the Miami-Dade Bar Young Lawyers Section for the 2025-2026 term, serves as director for Group One on the Miami-Dade Bar Board of Directors, and is actively involved in the Miami-Dade Section of the Florida Association of Women Lawyers. She has been recognized as a Florida Super Lawyers Rising Star, a Miami-Dade Bar Circle of Excellence Rising Leader in Construction Litigation, and a recipient of The Florida Bar Young Lawyers Division 36 Under Thirty-Six Professionalism Award.
