ORLANDO, Fla. – GrayRobinson is pleased to announce Shareholder Scott Cole will present "From Preparedness to Public Voice: Helping Boards and Leaders Navigate Crises," at the National Association of College and University Attorneys (NACUA) 2026 Annual Conference on Wednesday, July 1, 2026.
Scott’s presentation will explore strategies for institutional leaders and governing boards to anticipate, manage, and communicate effectively through crises. The session is part of the NACUA Annual Conference, a premier event for legal professionals in higher education, offering a platform to explore complex legal challenges, best practices, and emerging issues in educational law.
Based in the firm’s Orlando office, Scott leads the GrayRobinson Higher Education Team and serves on the NACUA 2026 Annual Conference Program Committee. He brings a unique perspective to higher education law, having served for nearly two decades as general counsel for the University of Central Florida and a decade as associate general counsel for the University of Florida. He provides legal counsel and operational consulting for colleges and universities, charter and public schools, and serves as outside general counsel for multiple state colleges, school boards, and charter schools across Florida and nationwide. His work spans business transactions involving nonprofit entities, employment, student affairs, governance, contracts, and complex emerging issues in higher education.
