GrayRobinson is pleased to share Government Affairs Advisor Carlecia Collins, Shareholder Chris Dawson, and Tallahassee Managing Shareholder George Levesque will serve as panelists at the Greater Pensacola Chamber of Commerce's Legislative Wrap-Up 2026 on Thursday, June 18, 2026, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm CT at Marcus Pointe Baptist Church in Pensacola, Fla. 

The annual event brings together business leaders, community stakeholders, and elected officials for a comprehensive review of the 2026 Florida Legislative Session. As panelists, Carlecia, Chris, and George will offer insight into the policies, bills, and budget decisions shaping the Greater Pensacola Area's economic and civic future, covering topics, including education, infrastructure, workforce development, health care, and military affairs. 

Based in the firm's Tallahassee office, Carlecia focuses on legislative strategy, government relations, and advocacy before the Florida Legislature. A veteran of Florida politics with more than a decade of experience, she is a former special assistant to the Speaker of the Florida House of Representatives and former senior legislative assistant to Florida Senate President Bill Galvano, where she managed statewide board, commission, and task force appointments. She helps clients advance their legislative and business priorities by monitoring regulatory developments, liaising with key government representatives, and effectively communicating positions on critical policy matters. She was named to the News Service of Florida's Above and Beyond: Women list in 2024 and is a member of Leadership Florida's Connect Class 11. 

Based in the firm’s Orlando and Tampa offices, Chris focuses on government affairs, lobbying, environmental, land use, transportation, and construction matters. A designated professional lobbyist and licensed engineer in training with dual degrees in law and civil engineering, he represents utilities, developers, contractors, local governments, and statewide associations before the Florida Legislature, executive branch, and political subdivisions on infrastructure, environmental, and construction policy matters. He led government relations efforts for Gulf County during and after Hurricane Michael and lobbied the state to implement a $100 million statewide LiDAR and coastal mapping program. He has been named a 2026 News Service of Florida Forty Under 40 honoree and serves on the Florida Board of Professional Engineers. 

Based in the firm’s Tallahassee office, George focuses on government affairs, administrative and regulatory law, litigation, appellate practice, and election law. With more than 20 years of experience advising clients at the intersection of law and politics, he is a former general counsel to both the Florida House of Representatives and the Florida Senate, where he advised on legislation and litigation involving redistricting, public education, gaming, health care, and the civil and criminal justice systems. He advises private and government sector clients on legislative, regulatory, and political law matters and has been recognized in Best Lawyers in America from 2023 through 2026 in administrative and regulatory law, commercial litigation, and government relations practice.
