GrayRobinson is pleased to share Attorney Byron Flagg will present “Land Use and Zoning 101: For Buying or Leasing Business Space” during the UF Innovate Lunch and Learn on Wednesday, March 4, 2026, at 12:00 pm at The Hub in Gainesville, Florida.
The program will cover the basic legal aspects of land use and zoning, including how land use laws and zoning laws affect startup and expanding businesses. Attendees will also learn about basic land use due diligence considerations before signing purchase contracts or lease agreements.
Byron advises landowners, business entities, individuals, and local governments on land use, zoning, environmental, regulatory, conservation, and real estate issues. Although having a statewide practice, he is focused on North Central Florida, based in GrayRobinson’s Gainesville office, his hometown. Byron has additional experience as outside counsel to several Florida municipalities and nonprofit organizations, advising on a variety of land use and coastal-related issues across the state of Florida.
