GrayRobinson is pleased to share Of Counsel Byron Flagg joined Highlands County Attorney Sherry Sutphen for a discussion on "Agritourism - Right to Farm Act" at the 2025 Florida Association of County Attorneys (FACA) Annual CLE Seminar in Orlando. A recording of the CLE seminar will be available to all FACA members late summer with 13 CLE general and CCLG certification credits with The Florida Bar.
During the session, Byron provided an overview of Florida’s Right to Farm Act and its impact on agritourism, highlighting legal protections for agricultural operations and how counties can navigate land use, zoning, and liability issues in support of rural economic development.
Byron advises landowners, business entities, individuals, and local governments on land use, zoning, environmental, regulatory, conservation, and real estate issues. Although having a statewide practice, he is focused on North Central Florida, based in GrayRobinson’s Gainesville office, his hometown. Byron has additional experience as outside counsel to several Florida municipalities and nonprofit organizations, advising on a variety of land use and coastal-related issues across the state of Florida.
