MIAMI, Fla. – GrayRobinson is pleased to announce Associate Attorney Vanessa M. Michaud has been installed as president-elect of the Coral Gables Bar Association. She previously served the association as treasurer from 2024 to 2026.
The mission of the Coral Gables Bar Association is to promote the exchange of ideas and information, the observance of the highest professional and ethical standards, and the education of its members on relevant issues in the legal profession.
Based in the firm’s Miami office, Michaud focuses her practice on intellectual property (IP) law and litigation involving trademarks, copyrights, patents, and related agreements. She works with businesses and innovators to develop and evaluate strategies for protecting and enforcing their IP rights at all stages. She also handles trademark and copyright prosecution matters and represents clients in Trademark Trial and Appeal Board disputes and commercial litigation. Her legal career includes experience at a boutique IP firm and a large commercial litigation firm, as well as experience as a student attorney with the Glushko-Samuelson Intellectual Property Clinic in law school. She is a member of the Cuban American Bar Association and The Florida Bar's Entertainment, Arts, and Sports Law Section.
