GrayRobinson Shareholder Guy Haggard Receives FAA's Wright Brothers Master Pilot Award

ORLANDO, Fla. – GrayRobinson is pleased to announce Shareholder Guy Haggard has received the Wright Brothers Master Pilot Award from the Federal Aviation Administration.

The Wright Brothers Master Pilot Award is named in honor of Orville and Wilbur Wright, the American aviation pioneers credited with inventing, building, and flying the world's first successful motor-operated airplane. To be eligible, nominees must hold a U.S. Civil Aviation Authority or FAA pilot certificate, have 50 or more years of combined civil and military piloting or aircraft operations experience, be a U.S. citizen, and have no history of airman certificate revocation. 

Based in the firm's Orlando office, Haggard represents and acts as general corporate counsel for aircraft owners, operators, FBOs, and other aviation companies. He is board-certified by The Florida Bar in Aviation Law and is an instrument-rated private pilot, type rated in the Cirrus Vision Jet, with more than 50 years of flying experience. Haggard previously served as chair of the West Orange Airport Authority from 2006-2013.
