LAKELAND, Fla. – GrayRobinson is pleased to announce Private Client Services Deputy Section Chair Sandra Sheets was certified in Wills, Trusts and Estates by The Florida Bar Board of Legal Specialization & Education (BLSE), effective August 1, 2026.
The Florida Bar’s board certification recognizes attorneys’ special knowledge, skills, and proficiency in various areas of law, as well as their professionalism and ethical conduct in practice. Established in 1982 by the Florida Supreme Court, board certification helps consumers identify specialists in various areas of law. The BLSE ensures the integrity of board certification, as originally sanctioned and adopted by the Florida Supreme Court, is preserved so that the public can rely upon representation of preeminent competence and ethics among the program’s participants.
As Lakeland managing shareholder, Sheets focuses her practice on estate and tax planning for high-net-worth individuals and families throughout Florida, including dispute resolution matters involving probate, fiduciaries, and beneficiaries. Sandy currently serves on the Board of Trustees of Florida Southern College, as secretary of the GiveWell Community Foundation, and as president of P.E.O. Chapter CP. She previously chaired The Florida Bar's Grievance Committee for the 10th Judicial Circuit from 2021-2022. She has been recognized by Best Lawyers in America for Trusts and Estates from 2015-2026, Florida Super Lawyers from 2009-2026, and Florida Trend's Legal Elite Hall of Fame from 2018-2023.
