MIAMI, Fla. – GrayRobinson is pleased to share Shareholder Stephanie Carman has been elected vice president of the Tufts Alumni Council Executive Committee, effective July 1, 2026. Carman will serve on the Executive Committee and co-chair the Audit Committee.
The Tufts Alumni Council serves as a key volunteer leadership body connecting Tufts University graduates worldwide, guiding programs and initiatives that strengthen the university's alumni community. Carman has long been active with Tufts, having previously co-chaired the Alumni Council's Resources Committee and served on its Executive Committee, in addition to co-leading the Miami Alumni Chapter from 2003 to 2020.
Based in the firm’s Miami office, Carman focuses her practice on healthcare, litigation, investigations and data privacy and security, and litigation. She represents academic medical centers, large hospital systems, home health, hospice and personal care providers, as well as laboratories, information technology, and device companies, in healthcare regulatory compliance, internal investigations, mergers and acquisitions, accreditation and payor matters and complex litigation involving false claims, fraud and abuse, and qui tam actions. She also advises corporate and individual clients in administrative and trial court matters and appeals. Carman is also a Florida Supreme Court Certified Circuit Mediator. Carman is a past president of the Miami-Dade Bar Association, and the University of Miami Law Alumni Association, where she now serves as co-chair of the National Alumni Advisory Council. She also serves as a board member of Legal Services of Greater Miami, Inc., where she chairs the Membership Committee. She is recognized in Chambers USA for healthcare (2021-2026) and Best Lawyers in America for commercial litigation (2022-2026).
