GrayRobinson Shareholder Stephanie Carman Honored with HBA Miami LEAD Award

GrayRobinson is pleased to share Shareholder Stephanie Carman has received the Leadership, Excellence and Dedication (LEAD) award from the Healthcare Businesswomen's Association Miami Chapter (HBA Miami). Stephanie currently serves as vice president of HBA Miami. 

The LEAD award is the highest honor an HBA volunteer can be given within their local HBA community. It honors a chapter or regional volunteer who has served as a volunteer for at least one year and made a significant contribution during the current calendar year. The LEAD award recipient has demonstrated excellence via sustained contributions at a regional level, positively impacted the region and its ongoing success, and demonstrated dedication to the HBA mission of furthering the advancement and impact of women in health care worldwide. 

Based in the Miami Office, Stephanie focuses her practice on health care law, data privacy and security, and litigation. She represents academic medical centers, large hospital systems, home health and hospice providers, laboratories, and technology and device companies in health care mergers and acquisitions, regulatory compliance, internal investigations, and complex litigation involving false claims, fraud and abuse, and qui tam actions. She also advises corporate and individual clients in investigations, administrative and trial court matters and appeals. 

Stephanie serves as a board member of Legal Services of Greater Miami, Inc. and chairs the board’s Membership Committee and is past president of the University of Miami Law Alumni Association and Miami Dade County Bar Association. She is recognized in Chambers USA for health care (2021-2025) and Best Lawyers in America for commercial litigation (2022-2026).
