GrayRobinson Elevates Kevin Jogerst to Government Affairs Advisor

WASHINGTON, D.C. – GrayRobinson is pleased to announce Kevin Jogerst has been elevated to government affairs advisor within the firm’s Government Affairs and Lobbying Section. Based in the Washington, D.C., office, Jogerst brings a strong background in federal and state legislative advocacy, policy analysis, and coalition building to the role.

Joining the firm in July 2024, Jogerst has made significant contributions, successfully advancing policy priorities and shaping public messaging through op-eds and other advocacy tools. Leveraging his understanding of how local priorities best translate into national policy, Jogerst has effectively advocated for private corporations, local governments, and public agencies seeking to secure federal resources or legislative solutions.

Born and raised in Tallahassee, Florida, Jogerst is deeply invested in issues affecting his home state and channeling that passion to advocate for clients in Washington. Jogerst began his career working as a legislative assistant in the Florida Senate, subsequently managing Florida Senate and U.S. congressional campaigns before moving to Washington to work on Capitol Hill. Before joining GrayRobinson, he served as press secretary for U.S. Representative Barry Loudermilk and as legislative aide for U.S. Representative Scott Franklin, where he honed his policy-portfolio management, coalition building, and legislative advocacy skills.

Jogerst was selected as a Heritage Foundation Congressional Fellow in 2023 and was a double major at the Florida State University, earning a Bachelor of Science in both Political Science and Spanish Language and Literature.
