JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – GrayRobinson is pleased to announce Samuel A. “Sam” Greco has joined its Litigation Section as of counsel in the firm’s Jacksonville office. A U.S. Navy Judge Advocate General’s (JAG) Corps Reserve lieutenant and member of the Florida House of Representatives, Greco draws on his military, legislative, and government experience to guide clients through high-stakes disputes and complex legal challenges.
Greco represents businesses, institutions, and individuals in litigation, maritime law, and appellate and trial support matters. He applies his multifaceted background to help clients develop litigation strategies, manage risk, and resolve disputes effectively – whether through strategic advisory, negotiation, or courtroom representation.
As a former active-duty Judge Advocate in the U.S. Navy, he represented the United States in federal criminal and administrative proceedings, provided legal aid to servicemembers, and advised senior leadership on sensitive matters. He also served as a law clerk to the U.S. Senate Judiciary and Homeland Security Committees, supporting the confirmation of federal judges and national security appointees. Additionally, Greco worked at Ernst & Young, advising clients in the defense and national security sectors.
As a complement to his legal career, Greco represents District 19 in the Florida House of Representatives, where he serves on the Health & Human Services, Security & Threat Assessment, and Joint Legislative Auditing Committees, as well as the Transportation & Economic Development Budget, Government Operations, Criminal Justice, and Human Services Subcommittees. This legislative experience provides Greco with a unique perspective that informs his approach to legal matters and his understanding of the intersection of policy and litigation.
Greco earned his Juris Doctor from Georgetown University Law Center and his Bachelor of Science in Foreign Service with a concentration in International Politics and Security from Georgetown University. He is admitted to practice in Florida and continues to serve as a lieutenant (O-3) in the U.S. Navy JAG Corps Reserve.
