GrayRobinson Shareholder John Truitt Appointed to Environmental Regulation Commission

GrayRobinson today announced Shareholder John Truitt has been appointed by Governor Ron DeSantis to the Environmental Regulation Commission (ERC), effective January 12, 2024. The Florida ERC is a non-salaried, seven-member board created by the Legislature as a part of the Department of Environmental Protection. ERC members are representatives of agriculture, the development industry, local government, the environmental community, residents, and members of the scientific and technical community who have substantial expertise in the areas of the fate transport of water pollutants, toxicology, epidemiology, geology, biology, environmental sciences, or engineering. It sets statutorily specified air and water quality standards by evaluating their scientific and technical validity, economic impacts, and risks and benefits to the public and Florida's natural resources. John is located in Tallahassee, where he works with business clients to address the ever-changing landscape of environmental regulatory challenges and compliance demands facing the public and private sectors.
