GrayRobinson today announced Public Finance Chair Brian Fender, Shareholder Jennifer Taylor, and Of Counsel Vanessa Steinerts served as underwriters’ counsel in a transaction winning The Bond Buyer 2023 Deal of the Year award in the “Health Care Financing” category. The transaction involved H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center’s $326 million issuance of cigarette tax allocation bonds to fund a 16-million-square-foot campus in Pasco County, Fla. It was also a finalist for The Bond Buyer’s overall national Deal of the Year award, which was ultimately won by the City of Chicago and its Sales Tax Securitization Corporation.
