November 2, 2023

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – GrayRobinson today announced Jeff Rood has rejoined its Real Estate and Land Use Section as of counsel, bringing valuable Northeast Florida market knowledge of pricing and deal terms after spending two years in commercial real estate brokerage.

Rood represents lenders, investors, and owner-operators, focusing his practice on finance and real estate. He utilizes technical drafting skills to facilitate the closure of complex transactions and comfortably navigates high-pressure negotiations. Following his initial tenure at GrayRobinson from 2016 through 2021, Rood spent two years as a licensed commercial real estate agent, primarily with Franklin Street, handling industrial property sales and leasing and gaining a deeper understanding of how owner-operators utilize their space.

Rood received his Juris Doctor from Duke University School of Law and his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Florida. He is admitted to practice in Florida before the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida and is a licensed commercial real estate agent.
