GrayRobinson Welcomes Former City of Jacksonville Chief of Staff and Director of Intergovernmental Affairs Leeann Krieg to its Government Affairs and Lobbying Section

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – GrayRobinson today announced former City of Jacksonville Chief of Staff and Director of Intergovernmental Affairs Leeann Krieg has joined its Government Affairs and Lobbying Section as a senior government affairs advisor. Based in the Jacksonville office, Krieg will help develop the firm’s local government and state lobbying client base in and around Northeast Florida.

Krieg is an ambitious legislative advocate with a profound understanding of how to achieve results in government to support clients. She has more than a decade of experience working alongside and leading local government, bringing a track record of success in advocating for millions of dollars in appropriations through the Florida Legislature.

Before joining GrayRobinson, Krieg served as director of government affairs for the City of Jacksonville and chief of staff to Mayor Lenny Curry. During her five-year tenure, she led the government relations team, leveraging extensive connections with members of the Jacksonville City Council to advocate for and accomplish objectives. Additionally, she supervised the City's legislative agenda at local, state, and federal levels; oversaw public affairs for the administration; and effectively advocated for several vital funding, legislative, and policy initiatives.

Krieg began her political career as campaign manager for Greg Anderson, City Council At-Large 4. Through relentless effort and dedication, she helped ensure Anderson’s victory in two consecutive elections and collaborated closely with multiple city government departments and two Mayors to address crucial issues. Krieg was named to the Jacksonville Bold: 10 people to watch in 2022 by Florida Politics.
