GrayRobinson today announced Of Counsel Shawn Demers has been appointed by President-Elect F. Scott Westheimer to The Florida Bar Journal/News Editorial Board for a one-year term, effective immediately. In this role, Shawn will work with fellow board members to advise and assist the editorial staff, working closely with the Journal and News staff to develop articles of current interest and concern to the profession and selecting worthy manuscripts for publication. Shawn is a commercial litigator and business transaction attorney and serves as counsel for small and growing businesses. He works with developers, investors, contractors, residential and commercial property owners, tenants, and other parties in commercial real estate transactions and litigation.
