GrayRobinson Bolsters Private Client Services Section with Addition of Trusted Business Lawyer and Estate Planner John Paul “J.P.” Bratcher

NAPLES, Fla. – GrayRobinson today announced John Paul “J.P.” Bratcher has joined its Private Client Services Section as Shareholder in the Naples office, where he focuses his practice on private wealth preservation, estate planning, estate and trust administration, business law, and fiduciary litigation.

“J.P.’s prominence in the Naples community and impressive experience in the estate planning arena is an asset to our section and the entire firm,” said GrayRobinson Shareholder and Private Client Services Section Chair Erik Shuman. “His consistent success has made him a trusted advisor, and we are thrilled to welcome such a knowledgeable and caring professional to GrayRobinson.”

Bratcher assists clients with gift tax, estate tax, and business succession planning, including representation of clients in sales and various other corporate matters. Additionally, he handles estate, trust, and fiduciary litigation, as well as judicial modification and settlement of trusts. Bratcher dedicates much of his practice to helping clients secure the future for their families and themselves.

“Between the dedicated people working at GrayRobinson and the unique position the firm holds in Florida’s legal market, I knew GrayRobinson would be a great fit to transition my practice and further grow my capabilities for clients in Naples and beyond,” said Bratcher. “I take great pride in serving as a counselor at law, and I am honored to now do so with this like-minded team to support the vast spectrum of circumstances clients and beneficiaries experience throughout their lifetimes and generations thereafter.”

Bratcher received his Master of Law in Taxation with a Certificate in Estate Planning from Georgetown University Law Center, his Juris Doctor with a Certificate in Tax Law from Ohio Northern University College of Law, and his Bachelor of Science in Finance and Business Administration from Indiana Wesleyan University. He is a director on the Board of the Georgetown Club of Naples, previously served as a member of the Next Generation Board for the Naples Shelter for Abused Women & Children, and is a member and past president of the Board for the Collier County Bar Association's Young Lawyers Section. Bratcher is admitted to practice in Florida and as a United States Tax Court-Practitioner.
