GrayRobinson’s Doyle Bartlett and Chris McCannell Named as The Hill’s Top Lobbyists 2020

Washington, D.C. – December 11, 2020 – GrayRobinson, P.A. (GrayRobinson) today announced Doyle Bartlett, Washington, D.C. managing shareholder, and Chris McCannell, senior government affairs consultant, were named to The Hill’s annual Top Lobbyists List for 2020. The annual list recognizes policy experts and influencers who stand out for delivering results for their clients in the halls of Congress and in the administration. "In a busy and challenging year for the influence world, these are the people who wielded their clout and knowledge most effectively for their clients," the publication states. Bartlett and McCannell were recognized under the list’s "Hired Guns" section.

Bartlett leads the federal lobbying arm of GrayRobinson. In his early career, he served for five years as Chief of Staff to Representative Bill McCollum, supporting Congressman McCollum's work as vice chair of the House Banking Committee and chair of the House Judiciary Committee's Crime Subcommittee. He oversaw Bill McCollum's race for the U.S. Senate in 1999-2000 and his successful campaign for Florida Attorney General in 2006. Bartlett cofounded the Eris Group in 2003 which was acquired by GrayRobinson in 2019.

McCannell has over a decade of experience as a federal lobbyist. He has earned recognition for his successful representation of Prudential Plc., Center for American Entrepreneurship, U.S. Travel, Asian American Hotel Owners Association, and Etihad Airways as well as other organizations in the fields of financial services, early stage startups, tax and retirement security, judiciary, transportation, and infrastructure. Prior to advocacy, McCannell was chief of staff to Reps. Joseph Crowley (D-NY) and Michael E. McMahon (D-NY) where he helped lead and grow the centrist New Democrat Coalition.
