Donald has been practicing law since 1961, almost exclusively in the areas of bankruptcy and debtors' and creditors' rights. He has been designated in corporate law, collections and bankruptcy by The Florida Bar for many years. He represents both debtors and creditors, secured and unsecured. Presently, at least 70 percent of his practice is devoted to bankruptcy, divided equally between debtor and creditor representation. He regularly represents large lending institutions, both local and national, before the bankruptcy court.

  • Background

    Donald was born in Worcester, Massachusetts. He resided in Fall River, Massachusetts, and West Hartford, Connecticut. He graduated from William H. Hall High School in West Hartford and thereafter attended the University of Connecticut in Storrs for one year. In 1956 he moved to South Florida and enrolled in the University of Miami. After two years at the University of Miami, he was admitted to Duke University School of Law in Durham, North Carolina, and graduated in 1961. He married Maxine in 1964 and moved to Brevard County, Florida, where he and Maxine still live.
