Francesca Russo advises and represents domestic and international clients on global issues involving international trade and intellectual property litigation. Ideally situated in the international business hub of Miami, she helps clients navigate the cross-border handling of goods and services and related litigation. Francesca has extensive experience in alternative dispute resolution, frequently serving as local counsel for firms seeking to enforce or defend their clients’ rights in South Florida. A sophisticated advisor, she works with clients operating across a wide array of dynamic sectors, including art, fashion, real estate, and transportation.

Francesa represents business clients in both federal and state courts on various aspects of commercial and international litigation, with a focus on intellectual property litigation, including trademark infringement, trademark counterfeiting, copyright infringement, patent infringement, breach of contract and tort claims, civil theft, trade secrets, corporate and business concerns, director and officer liability, and fraud, among other areas. Her shipping and transportation litigation experience includes import/export issues, sale of goods matters, freight forwarding challenges, and cargo disputes and losses. Fluent in French, Italian, Spanish, and Portuguese, Francesca’s multilingual proficiency is a valuable asset for business clients seeking to engage in and grow international market activity.

Prior to joining GrayRobinson, Francesca served clients as an attorney in Quebec, Canada, and as a partner in a Miami-based commercial litigation firm and a boutique intellectual property litigation firm. Francesca is a regular contributor to legal publications and presenter on various aspects of intellectual property law and international trade and litigation. She collaborates with firm colleagues in the international, trademark, and transportation and logistics practices to deliver fully integrated legal services for clients.
