Veronica is a shareholder in GrayRobinson's Miami office. She focuses her practice on complex commercial and financial institutions litigation at the trial and appellate levels, in state and federal courts. Veronica has also represented clients in arbitrations before the American Arbitration Association and in cross-border disputes before the International Center for Dispute Resolution. Veronica has experience litigating matters involving breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty, fraud, corporate and partnership disputes, banking litigation, consumer protection statutes, the Uniform Commercial Code and banking privacy.

Veronica is admitted to practice before the U.S. district courts for the Southern, Middle, Northern districts of Florida; and all Florida trial and appellate courts. 

  • Background

    Veronica was born and raised in Connecticut. She earned her bachelor's in law and society, with honors, from the University of California, Santa Barbara. She graduated from the University of Miami School of Law with her juris doctor in May 2010. While at the University of Miami, she was elected executive editor of the Inter-American Law Review. Veronica joined GrayRobinson in 2010. She has been a shareholder with GrayRobinson since 2017.

    • Delivered a win at the appellate level for Truist Bank in a class action. The appeal arose from the dismissal with prejudice of a class action against Truist Bank asserting alleged violations of Florida’s U.C.C. and Florida’s Consumer Collection Practices Act based on an allegedly defective pre-disposition notice under Section 679.614, Florida Statutes.
