She has worked with various food and alcohol manufacturers and retailers, members of the hospitality industry, third-party providers, and companies and individuals from each of America’s three-tier system of alcohol distribution concerning licensing, regulatory, business, and trade practice issues.
Hannah has significant experience in drafting and negotiating alcohol importation agreements and distribution agreements and related amendments and notices, including change in control consent letters and termination notices, providing alcohol licensing and regulatory support for major mergers and acquisitions in the hospitality industry, drafting sponsorship and promotional agreements, providing counsel to businesses engaging in alcohol delivery and shipment, label review for alcohol beverage products, including low-ABV beverages and non-alcoholic beverages regulated by FDA and related health claims and structure/function claims, and providing support on tax-related issues in the alcohol industry.
Hannah also has experience assisting her clients with issues pertaining to zoning and land use. She has represented a number of clients in obtaining local alcohol beverage conditional and special use approvals and variances in various localities in Florida, as well as other states. She oversees the entire process, including pre-development due diligence, the preparation and submission of various applications, coordinating public notice, and attending public hearings on behalf of clients.
