Their presentation offered practical guidance on the documentation practices that help protect contractors against construction defect claims.
Based in the firm’s Tampa office, Lauren is a member of the GrayRobinson Construction Team and is board-certified in Construction Law by The Florida Bar. She represents developers, general contractors, and subcontractors throughout Florida in contract preparation, lien claims, and defect litigation, including installation and product defect claims involving corrosion, water intrusion, and coating failures in sliding glass doors, windows, and railings for single-family homes, multi-family communities, mixed-use projects, and high-rise condominiums. She handles matters at all stages, from pre-suit negotiations through litigation, arbitration, and trial, with notable appellate decisions in Florida’s 2nd, 3rd, and 4th District Courts of Appeal. Lauren was recently named to the Executive Committee of The Florida Bar’s Real Property, Probate, and Trust Law Section and was appointed vice chair of the Construction Law Institute for a three-year term. She has been named to Best Lawyers in America’s Ones to Watch list in 2026 and Florida Super Lawyers’ Rising Stars list from 2021-2026.
Also based in the firm's Tampa office and a member of GrayRobinson’s Construction Team, Elizabeth counsels clients on defense strategies related to AIA documents and defect litigation, and serves on litigation teams for complex lawsuits, helping to navigate a clear path to resolving claims against contractors and construction professionals. Elizabeth also supports mediation proceedings and provides high-level client service. She is a member of the American Bar Association, The Florida Bar, and the Hillsborough County Bar Association.
