GrayRobinson is pleased to share Shareholder Nikki Day presented "The Data Center Boom: Land Use, Infrastructure, and Legal Framework for Cities," at the Florida Municipal Attorneys Association (FMAA) Conference. 

Nikki's presentation explored the legal considerations facing cities as they navigate the rapid growth of data center development, including land use planning, infrastructure demands, and the regulatory framework municipalities need to manage this emerging trend. 

Based in the firm’s Tampa office, Nikki brings over a decade of dedicated experience representing local government entities in a wide array of legal matters. Board-certified by The Florida Bar in City, County, and Local Government Law, she provides invaluable counsel on capital projects, procurement, contracts, land use, zoning, and public private partnerships. Nikki serves as treasurer of the Florida Bar's City, County, and Local Government Law Section Executive Committee. She also holds a Certificate in the Economics of Blockchain and Digital Assets from the University of Pennsylvania, Wharton School of Business, and a Certificate in Agentic AI from the Harvard Data Science Initiative.
