GrayRobinson is pleased to share Shareholder Jim Moseley will serve as the luncheon opening speaker at the 2026 Southeastern Admiralty Law Institute (SEALI) Annual Seminar on June 19, 2026, in Williamsburg, Virginia.
The annual seminar gathers maritime law practitioners from across the country for several days of continuing legal education and professional collaboration. Jim will address attendees in his capacity as president of the Maritime Law Association of the United States, offering remarks on the MLA and SEALI.
Based in firm’s Jacksonville office, Moseley serves as the head of the firm’s Admiralty and Maritime Team. His practice spans four decades of litigation, commercial transactions, regulatory compliance, and non-litigation counseling for shipowners, operators, insurers, logistics companies, railroads, and other transportation clients, with a particular focus on maritime casualties, cargo claims, maritime finance, charter negotiations, and regulatory proceedings before the U.S. Coast Guard and the National Transportation Safety Board. He is especially trusted by leading international marine insurers in the London market and by European P&I Clubs in high-value, complex claims. Moseley is ranked Band 1 by Chambers USA for Transportation: Shipping/Maritime: Litigation (Nationwide), is board-certified by The Florida Bar in Admiralty and Maritime Law, and has been listed in Best Lawyers in America since 2009, earning Lawyer of the Year in Admiralty and Maritime Law in 2015, 2017, 2019, 2021, 2023, and 2025. In addition to his MLA presidency, Jim is a titulary member of the Comité Maritime International, is an active member of the Southeastern Admiralty Law Institute, and is a past president of the Jacksonville Bar Association.
