GrayRobinson is pleased to announce Shareholder Nicole Vele will present on panel at the 14th Annual NoVA B2G Matchmaking Conference and Small Business Expo, hosted by the Greater Reston Chamber of Commerce, on Thursday, May 28, 2026, from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm ET in Reston, Virginia.
Nicole will participate in the third education panel, "From Zero to GovCon: Winning Opportunities in a Changing Market," alongside fellow practitioners and procurement advisors. The session is designed to equip small businesses with practical strategies for entering the federal marketplace, including how to assess contract readiness, identify subcontracting and prime opportunities, build relationships with contracting officers and primes, and avoid common pitfalls when scaling in the federal space.
Based in the firm’s Washington, D.C., office, Nicole concentrates her practice on government contracts, litigation, administrative and regulatory matters, and construction. A U.S. Air Force Judge Advocate General veteran, she advises clients on solicitations, source selections, bid protests, contract modifications, terminations, and claims, and has managed multi-billion-dollar contracting matters on behalf of government contractors. She serves as co-chair of the Commercial Products and Services Committee and vice chair of the Procurement Fraud and False Claims Committee within the American Bar Association’s Public Contract Law Section and is a former board member of the Autism Society of America.
