GrayRobinson is pleased to announce Regulated Products Section Chair Elizabeth DeConti will speak at the CHOICE Hotels 70th Annual Convention on May 6, 2026, in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Elizabeth will present “Food and Beverage Legal Risks in Hotels: Licensing, Liability, and Alcohol Compliance,” addressing key risk areas facing hotels, restaurants, and food and beverage outlets. The presentation will examine licensing requirements, alcohol service and compliance obligations, premises liability concerns, regulatory enforcement trends, and food safety considerations. The session is designed to provide practical guidance to help operators reduce risk, strengthen compliance practices, and improve operational efficiency while maintaining high standards of guest service.
Based in the firm’s Tampa office, Elizabeth focuses her practice on alcohol beverage and food law regulation, licensing, compliance, and promotion. For more than 25 years, she has represented major alcohol suppliers, wholesalers, national chain retailers, and hospitality industry clients before state and federal courts and administrative agencies on matters ranging from complex commercial litigation and franchise disputes to digital advertising compliance, sweepstakes regulations, and large-scale liquor license transactions. Fluent in French and Italian, she also advises European clients and foreign entities on international matters, including winery acquisitions and cross-border regulatory compliance, and is consistently recognized by Chambers USA in the Food and Beverages: Alcohol category and by Best Lawyers in America in Administrative/Regulatory Law.
