The presentation focused on identifying common fraud schemes targeting Florida's elderly population, recognizing the warning signs that a loved one may have been targeted or has already become a victim, and the practical steps everyone can take to help protect their family members and friends. With the average loss for a victim of elder fraud exceeding $80,000, Roger emphasized that staying engaged, maintaining open conversations, and knowing what to look for can make a critical difference.
