GrayRobinson is pleased to announce Shareholder and Regulated Products Section Chair Elizabeth DeConti will speak on the panel, “Beyond the Hemp Loophole: Federal and State Action in 2026,” at the 2026 Distilled Spirits Council of the United States (DISCUS) Annual Conference on March 5, 2026, from 9:00 am to 10:00 am ET in Louisville, Kentucky.
The panel will examine implementation of Congress’s 2025 closure of the Farm Bill loophole permitting intoxicating hemp products, related executive action affecting federal marijuana policy, and the resulting wave of state regulatory and legislative activity. Panelists will discuss how these developments are reshaping state regulatory frameworks and what the post-loophole environment may look like for regulators, markets, and interstate commerce in 2026 and beyond.
