In this session, John will guide participants through the mandatory regulatory framework for alcohol service at large-scale venues, highlight common compliance challenges, and discuss liability risks – with practical recommendations for venues, festival organizers, concessionaires, and legal advisors. The presentation aims to proactively equip stakeholders with the knowledge to remain compliant while safeguarding against legal exposures.
Based in the firm’s Tampa office, John is a senior associate and the operations manager of GrayRobinson’s Regulated Products Section, where he guides clients through the dynamic alcohol beverage industry and advises on laws governing the manufacturing, importation, distribution, marketing, sale, and consumption of beer, wine, distilled spirits, and other licensed beverages. In his operations role, he develops and oversees strategies to streamline licensing, research, and technology initiatives, while coordinating workflow among licensing specialists to ensure every client’s needs are handled efficiently and by the most effective team.
