GrayRobinson is pleased to announce Shareholder Michael Colitz, III was the featured presenter at the Intellectual Property (IP) Committee Meeting of the Business Law Section during the 2025 Annual Florida Bar Convention in Boca Raton.
Michael gave an overview of the 2025 Patent Eligibility Restoration Act (S. 1546), focusing on proposed federal legislation that aims to clarify and expand what types of inventions are eligible for patent protection. The presentation provided critical insights into how this legislation could reshape the innovation landscape and impact IP strategy moving forward.
Michael focuses his practice on IP litigation. He has litigated numerous patent, trademark, and copyright matters in courts throughout the country. Michael is board-certified in IP Law by The Florida Bar and is a past chair of The Florida Bar’s IP Law Committee.
