GrayRobinson Shareholder Mark Chmielarski today presented "Preventing Commercial Real Estate Transaction Fraud" as a panelist during the Risk Management Association (RMA) Central Florida Chapter quarterly meeting. Mark’s presentation detailed the intricacies of wire fraud, and federal and state law changes to prevent fraud in commercial real estate transactions. RMA is a not-for-profit, member-driven professional association that aims to advance the use of sound risk principles in the financial services industry. RMA promotes an enterprise approach to risk management that focuses on credit risk, market risk, and operational risk; it also helps members improve institutional performance and financial stability and enhances the risk competency of individuals through information, education, peer sharing, and networking.
