GrayRobinson’s Scott Cole will present on faculty misconduct at the NACUA Spring 2022 CLE Workshop: Higher Education Employment Law beginning Tuesday, March 29 through Thursday, March 31. This session will focus on issues institutions face in addressing faculty misconduct. Using case studies, the presenters will follow the life of a faculty misconduct case. The panel will consider issues such as terms of initial employment, investigation best practices, adjudicatory/grievance processes, and consideration of sanctions, up to and including dismissal. The presenters will also consider post-action issues such as notification to external parties in light of privacy considerations.
