FORT LAUDERDALE, FL – November 5, 2014 – Gary I. Resnick, a shareholder in the Fort Lauderdale office of GrayRobinson, has been re-elected as Mayor of Wilton Manors. Resnick was first elected to the City Commission in March 1998. In March 2000, the City Commission unanimously selected him as Vice Mayor. Resnick was re-elected to the Commission in 2002 and in 2006, prior to being elected Mayor for the first time in 2008.

Resnick concentrates his practice in the representation of local governments and private clients in government and regulatory affairs, communications and cable law, utilities, charter schools and use of rights-of-way. He serves as Chair of the Federal Communications Commission Intergovernmental Advisory Committee and has been a member since 2004. He also serves on the National League of Cities Information Technology and Communications Steering Committee, the Board of Directors of Independent Multi-Family Communications Council (IMCC), and the Board of Directors of the Florida League of Cities and Florida League of Mayors and is a past President of the Broward County League of Cities.
