MELBOURNE, Fla. – GrayRobinson is pleased to announce Associate Attorney Victoria Morales has joined four committees within The Florida Bar's Elder Law Section, including the Anti-Abuse, Neglect and Exploitation; Disability Law; Estate Planning, Advance Directives, and Probate; and Special Needs Trust Committees.
These committees support Florida attorneys and the public through policy development, education, and advocacy on issues affecting vulnerable populations, including the abuse, neglect, and exploitation of vulnerable adults, special needs trust planning, and the legal rights of individuals with disabilities. Members contribute to shaping best practices and legislative priorities within their respective focus areas.
Based in the firm's Melbourne office, Morales focuses her practice on estate planning, with an emphasis on high-net-worth individuals and federal estate tax returns, as well as elder law and wealth transfer strategies for individuals and families. She guides clients through long-term care and Medicaid planning, as well as probate and guardianship matters. Morales previously served as press and communications secretary and deputy field director for New York State Senator Phil Boyle, where she conducted research and drafted reports on economic development and social justice. She serves as vice chair of The Florida Bar Elder Law Section’s Ethics Committee.
