WASHINGTON, D.C. – GrayRobinson is pleased to announce Shareholder Nicole A. Vele has been appointed to the American Bar Association's (ABA) Public Contract Law Section Council. Vele was also selected to serve as vice chair of the Commercial Products and Services, Debarment and Suspension, and Procurement Fraud and False Claims Committees.
Through her new roles, Vele will help guide the section's work across each of these areas by reviewing and commenting on proposed legislation and regulations, contributing to section publications, and leading programming on federal, state, and local procurement law.
Based in the firm's Washington, D.C., office, Vele concentrates her practice on government contracts, litigation, administrative and regulatory matters, and construction. A U.S. Air Force Judge Advocate General veteran, she advises clients on solicitations, source selections, bid protests, contract modifications, terminations, and claims, and has managed multi-billion-dollar contracting matters on behalf of government contractors. She serves on the Board of Directors of the Space Coast Chamber and is a former board member of the Autism Society of America.
