GrayRobinson Attorney Katherine Katz Receives Board Certification in Construction Law by The Florida Bar

August 1, 2026

ORLANDO, Fla. – GrayRobinson is pleased to announce Senior Associate Katherine W. Katz was board-certified in Construction Law by The Florida Bar Board of Legal Specialization and Education (BLSE), effective August 1, 2026.

The Florida Bar’s board certification recognizes attorneys' special knowledge, skills, and proficiency in various areas of law, as well as their professionalism and ethical conduct in practice. Established in 1982 by the Florida Supreme Court, board certification helps consumers identify specialists in various areas of law. The BLSE ensures the integrity of board certification, as originally sanctioned and adopted by the Florida Supreme Court, is preserved so that the public can rely upon representation of preeminent competence and ethics among the program's participants.

Based in the firm's Orlando office, Katz focuses her practice on construction and employment litigation. She has experience litigating, mediating, and arbitrating a wide range of matters, including construction defect and design disputes, discrimination and retaliation claims, lien enforcement, and contract disputes. Katz also handles OSHA-related matters and disputes involving workplace safety and health regulations. She is a graduate of Leadership Orlando, Class 105, and Leadership Seminole, Class 35. She has been recognized in Best Lawyers in America, Ones to Watch, 2024-2026, for Construction Law, Litigation - Construction, and Litigation - Labor and Employment, as well as Florida Super Lawyers, Rising Stars, 2024-2026.
