TAMPA, Fla. – GrayRobinson is pleased to announce Shareholder Lauren Eliopoulos has been appointed vice chair of the Construction Law Institute (CLI). Her appointment is for a three-year term.
The CLI, part of the Real Property, Probate and Trust Law (RPPTL) Section of The Florida Bar, brings together leading construction law practitioners, contractors, and industry professionals for an annual two-day seminar focused on emerging and in-depth construction law issues. As vice chair, Eliopoulos will help guide the CLI's programming and leadership over the course of her term.
Based in the firm's Tampa office, Eliopoulos is board-certified in Construction Law by The Florida Bar and represents developers, general contractors, and subcontractors throughout Florida in contract preparation, lien claims, and defect litigation, including installation and product defect claims involving corrosion, water intrusion, and coating failures in sliding glass doors, windows, and railings for single-family homes, multi-family communities, mixed-use projects, and high-rise condominiums. She handles matters at all stages, from pre-suit negotiations through litigation, arbitration, and trial, with notable appellate decisions in Florida's 2nd, 3rd, and 4th District Courts of Appeal. She also presents continuing education courses for insurance adjusters and contractors on Florida Statute 558, the Statute of Repose, risk transfer analysis, and case resolution strategies, among other topics. Eliopoulos was recently named to the Executive Council of The Florida Bar's Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Section, and she has been named to Best Lawyers in America's Ones to Watch list in 2026 and Florida Super Lawyers' Rising Stars list from 2021 to 2026.
