MIAMI, Fla. – GrayRobinson is proud to announce Shareholder Sydney D'Angelo has been appointed to serve on The Florida Bar Appellate Practice Section's Executive Council for the term beginning June 2026 and ending June 2029.
As a member of the Executive Council, she will help guide the section's leadership and advance its mission of supporting appellate practitioners across Florida. D’Angelo has served as assistant editor for the section’s Publications Committee since 2024 and has co-authored two articles for the section’s column in The Florida Bar Journal.
Based in the Miami office, D'Angelo will bring her experience and passion for appellate advocacy to her new role. She handles appeals and original proceedings throughout all stages—from initiation through briefing, oral argument, and post-opinion proceedings—and regularly collaborates with trial lawyers to preserve appellate issues before and during trial. She is admitted to practice in all Florida courts; the U.S. Supreme Court, the U.S. Courts of Appeals for the 4th, 5th, and 11th Circuits, and the U.S. District Courts for the Southern, Middle, and Northern Districts of Florida. She has also represented clients in state appellate courts outside Florida, including in the Georgia Supreme Court.
