MIAMI, Fla. – GrayRobinson is proud to announce Shareholder Sydney D'Angelo was unanimously selected by the 2024-2025 Miami-Dade Florida Association for Women Lawyers (MDFAWL) Board as a Leader in the Law. She was presented with the award at the Florida Association for Women Lawyers’ (FAWL) Gala during The Florida Bar Convention.
The Leader in the Law Award honors outstanding women who make meaningful contributions to their communities through legal service and volunteer work. D'Angelo’s selection reflects her sustained dedication to the profession and her peers. For several years, D’Angelo has served as co-chair of the Courtroom Access Committee, spearheading in-person workshops for young lawyers to present argument and receive feedback from judges at state and federal courthouses. In addition to D'Angelo’s selection as a Leader in the Law, the workshops were recognized at the FAWL Gala as the 2026 “Outstanding Member Program.”
Based in Miami, D'Angelo focuses her practice on civil appeals and litigation support. She handles appeals and original proceedings throughout all stages—from initiation through briefing, oral argument, and post-opinion proceedings—and regularly collaborates with trial lawyers to preserve appellate issues before and during trial. She is admitted to practice in all Florida courts; the U.S. Supreme Court; the U.S. Courts of Appeals for the 4th, 5th, and 11th Circuits; and the U.S. District Courts for the Southern, Middle, and Northern Districts of Florida.
